Those who attended include D’banj, Ice Prince, Iyanya, Vector, Iceberg Slim, May D, LKT, Flowssickk, J Sleek, Ajebutter 22, Emma Nyra and others.

Davido also picked a lucky fan to win N500,000 as earlier promised.

The lucky winner turned out to be upcoming comedian MC Galaxy, who is known for his fun ’etighi’ dance moves in Iyanya’s ‘Kukere’ and ‘Ur waist’ video.

Winner of Big Brother Africa 2012, Keagan Petersen In Auto Crash, Damages Arm

2012 Big Brother StarGame winner, Keagan Petersen was involved in a serious car crash yesterday, Sunday, November 25, 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa. The auto accident, as we gathered, has left him with a damaged arm in three different places.

According to him, as posted through his Facebook page, "So, [I] was in a big car accident this morning, [my] arm [was] shattered in three places. To the guy, who was driving on my side of the road, I forgive you. Much love people, enjoy your weekend!"

 Keagan was admitted at the Constantiaberg Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa. We hear he is in a good condition now.

Jonathan commends UNIBEN for standard

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, Saturday, commended the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for being the best university in the country and sub-Sahara Africa and urged other Nigerian universities to live up to the standard required for the growth of education in the country.

The president, who spoke through Professor Patrick Onolemenmen of the National Universities Commission (NUC), at the 38th convocation of the university, admonished Vice-Chancellors to key into the developmental agenda of the Federal Government, adding that they should send proposals that will help address the challenges of the nation.

Davido’s mum was a Babcock University lecturer until she passed away in 2003. Davido has acknowledged in several interview he misses his mum.

‘I’m sure if she was here, she will be rocking all the songs’ he said in an interview.

The Swedish woman is suspected of using 100 parts, which included six skulls and one backbone, in ‘sexual situations’ and was charged with violating the peace of the deceased, prosecutors said.

TLC To Return With New Album

It's been over ten years since fans were treated to the sounds of the crazy, sexy, cool trio TLC.
Now the remaining members of the group Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are heading back to the booth to record new material. The two announced the news at the Mobo Awards in Liverpool.

"We're going to still sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at this time," T-Boz said of their upcoming project. "We've always grown throughout the years and have always had our own sound. That's what works for us and we don't have to worry about anybody else." This album would be the first since their 2002 3D that was released six months after third member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras.

Pakistan Couple Fatally Pours Acid On 15-Year-Old Daughter In ‘Honor Killing’

A Pakistani couple accused of killing their 15-year-old daughter by pouring acid on her carried out the attack because she sullied the family’s honor by looking at a boy, the couple said in an interview broadcast Monday by the BBC. 

The girl’s death underlines the problem of so-called “honor killings” in Pakistan where women are often killed for marrying or having relationships not approved by their families or because they are perceived to have somehow dishonored their family. 

The girl’s parents, Mohammad Zafar and his wife Zaheen, recounted the Oct. 29 incident from jail. The father said the girl had turned to look at a boy who drove by on a motorcycle, and he told her it was wrong. 

“She said `I didn’t do it on purpose. I won’t look again.’ By then I had already thrown the acid. It was her destiny to die this way,” the girl’s mother told the British broadcaster.

How Oluremi Osholake Died of Uterine Cancer

She was one of Nigeria’s most celebrated fashion designers,better known as Remi Lagos. Yesterday morning, fashion designer Oluremi Osholake most popularly known as Remi Lagos passed away in London  after a long a battle with cancer.

It was gathered that Ms Osholake, 51, passed on at the Harley Street Clinic in London. She had been earlier diagnosed with uterine cancer. (Complications of cancer occurring in the uterus).

She was hospitalised two weeks ago and had begun chemotherapy before giving up the ghost.

She is survived by one sister, Adetomi Osholake. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Hurricane Sandy has left many devestated after it ramsacked through the East Coast and yesterday some of our favorite celebs gathered together for a “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together” telethon to raise funds, featuring performances and heart felt messages.

Late British Singer, Amy Winehouse’s dresses stolen

In a surprising twist of events, a wedding gown and a cocktail dress belonging to late British singer Amy Winehouse set to be auctioned have been stolen from the singer home.

The dresses where meant to have been auctioned to raise money for Amy’s charity which helps youngsters fight drugs and develop their music. The wedding dress stolen was what the singer wore when she married Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007 reports Sky News, while the cocktail dress Amy wore for a live performance.
