Late British Singer, Amy Winehouse’s dresses stolen


In a surprising twist of events, a wedding gown and a cocktail dress belonging to late British singer Amy Winehouse set to be auctioned have been stolen from the singer home.

The dresses where meant to have been auctioned to raise money for Amy’s charity which helps youngsters fight drugs and develop their music. The wedding dress stolen was what the singer wore when she married Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007 reports Sky News, while the cocktail dress Amy wore for a live performance.



According to Sky News, the gown was expected to go for £100,000 while the cocktail dress was to raise about £30,000

Reports confirm that the dresses where stolen from the home where the singer died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011 at age 27, but the house did not appear broken into. Although the case has not been formally reported to the police, members of the public have been warned not to buy the stolen dresses.
