Cossy Orjiakor opens ‘Playgirl Mansion’, announces album launch date

Days after she reportedly acquired 12 plots of land at Kuchiako Kuje, Abuja, for ‘commercial use’, Nollywood bad girl Cossy Orjiakor has announced the opening of her very own ‘Playgirl Mansion‘.

Orjiakor posted photos of the building on Twitter – showing off an emblem (which is her name written between two Playboy logos) at the top of a balcony.

‘Play girl mansion is now open. Pls send the left over rams …A pretty big boobs chef will make a delicacy out of em‘, @CossyDiva tweeted.

Cossy has also disclosed that she will be launching her music album in December and she plans to do it big. ‘My Album launch is Dec,15, Venue ..in the sea..Prest Boat Cruise.. life band …buffet..and lots of take home gifts. 1st class affair‘, she said.

Wife of popular music producer, Solomon Oyeniyi otherwise known as K-Solo, Kikelomo, was delivered of a baby boy on Friday morning. Kike, who has reportedly been in the news for some time now due to an alleged assault on her by her husband.

She was delivered of the baby at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos. Sources confirmed that she is in good condition with the baby.

Meanwhile, K-Solo has reportedly denied the paternity of the child due to some reasons sources close to him referred to as an earlier controversial text message from Kike on the paternity of the baby.

Teacher flogs 12-year-old student to death in Anambra state

A 12-year-old student of a secondary school in Awka, Anambra State, Miss Chidimma Ukachukwu, has died after she was allegedly flogged by her teacher for failing to do her homework.

A reliable source in the school told the News Agency of Nigeria in Awka on Tuesday that the girl died on Thursday last week after she was flogged. The source explained that the girl fainted after being flogged severally by a female teacher and was subsequently rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where she died.

‘There is no truth in the story’ – Kemi Adetiba denies EFCC arrest

Popular TV host and video director Kemi Adetiba has denied the reports going around that she was recently arrested by the officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over her involvement in a N15m tussle with a Lagos based church.

Adetiba granted an interview regarding the issue. ‘No truth in the story’ and that the article written by the Nigerian Enquirer magazine was made to ‘to tarnish her reputation’.

‘It has been brought to my attention that Nigerian Enquirer magazine published an article designed and calculated to tarnish my reputation. I want to say most emphatically that there is no truth in the story‘, She said.

33 Dead In Ogun As Coaster Bus Plunges Into River

No fewer than 33 passengers were feared  dead yesterday  when a coaster bus loaded with passengers skidded-off  a dual carriage bridge and plunged into a river at J4, Ogbere -Ijebu stretch of the Sagamu – Ore expressway, in Ijebu East Local government area of Ogun state.

It was gathered that the bus sank immediately it plunged into the river and was reportedly swept away from the point of entry to the river.


It was learnt that, there were  three survivors who include  a pregnant woman who were said to have been   hung between a tree branch.

The pop stars Peter and Paul Okoye along with their manager Jude and a 13-piece band arrived the city of Harare a board a South African Airways plane on Thursday, October 11, 2012 ahead of their Saturday concert.

The duo spent the next set of days making rounds at local radio and TV stations.

‘We are delighted to be in Zimbabwe. We want to give our fans here something to talk about for a long time’, Bass guitarist Doyin, part of Psquare’s band told New Zimbabwe.

Tagged ‘Raise the Vibes’, the concert was sponsored by Delta Beverages through their Lion Lager brand.

The concert went down last night at the Glamis Arena with thousands of fans in attendance.

Police shoot sales girl dead, injure 3 others

A 20-year old sales girl identified simply as Lucy, was on Friday was shot dead by policemen in the Apo area of Abuja. The girl was hit in the chest by bullets fired into a photography shop where she worked as a sales girl. Achebe hates Awolowo, Yoruba race, says Adebanjo

A leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has faulted extracts from Prof. Chinua Achebe’s latest memoirs on the Nigerian Civil War accusing the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo as the initiator of the pogrom against the Igbo.

The memoirs coming 42 years after the war, Adebanjo said, reinforced “Achebe’s pathological hatred for Awolowo and the Yoruba race.”

Parents Watch As 16-Year-Old Girl Beaten To Death After Making Fun Of Another Girl’s Farts!

A 16-year-old Ohio girl is dead after a fight that started when she made fun of another teenager for flatulence.
The other girl, also 16, now faces a murder charge. Cops haven’t released her name.
A group of adults, including the stepfather of victim Shaakira Dorsey, watched the two teens go at it last Wednesday in Warrensville Heights after Shaakira teased the other girl for passing gas, witnesses told KAIT-TV.
“At the end of my driveway, it’s some kids fighting, and it’s adults there watching,” one person told a 911 operator.
Local parent DeAndre Clemons said posts on Facebook and Twitter implied that one of the girls’ parents actually brought her to the fight, according to WEWS-TV.

 Mrs. Jane Toku, the mother of Lloyd, one of the four undergraduates of the University of Port Harcourt that were lynched at Aluu community in Rivers State, says her son’s death will always haunt her.

She also expressed shock that the crowd could watch how her son and his friends were gruesomely murdered. Jane spoke with Punch correspondent amid tears on Monday in Port Harcourt.

Jane said, “When we got there, one of them was still breathing. He was gasping for breath, but the crowd…they were all there watching while my baby (Lloyd) was butchered. Come to my area and ask questions about my child; the child I trained.
