La La Vazquez Anthony frolicks on beach in Malibu as husband Carmelo Anthony competes for gold at London Olympics

  While her husband shooting for a gold medal with Team USA at the London Olympics, La La Vazquez is taking part in another great American tradition - frolicking at the beach.
The reality star, 33, was snapped having a grand time with pals on a beach in Malibu Tuesday, the same day Anthony, the Knicks' All-Star forward, took on Tunisia in a preliminary round game.

Vasquez didn't look like she had a care in the world, flaunting her figure in a turqoise bikini top, flowered bottoms and giant gold hoop earrings.

Anthony, meanwhile, has been struggling to bring his A-game to London, which he's attributed to the officiating in the international game.

  "Every game has been officiated differently," he said Monday, referencing the team's face-off against France Sunday. "That game was just crazy. I've never been part of a game like that."
Anthony, 28, had been dominant in the five friendlies ahead of the Olympics but struggled Sunday, going 3-for-10 from the field coming off the bench in the Americans' 98-71 win over France.

  "I'm not used to it, coming off the bench," he said.
Despite his struggles, Anthony had at least one VIP fan cheering for him Sunday.
First Lady Michelle Obama gave him and his teammates a hug following their win Sunday, and Anthony confirmed that "she's a Melo fan."
